Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
UnitTrail is operated by Xsyk Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17273344), registered office 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX ("we", "us"). Contact: xsyk.xyz@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist form: your name, work email, company name, number of technicians, trade, whether you use Jobber, and anything you type about how you track equipment.
- Founding pre-orders: your name, email, billing details and order information. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Research calls: notes from calls you agree to take part in.
- Basic site analytics (if enabled): pages viewed and approximate location, without advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To send you product updates you asked for, and to invite you to the demo or beta.
- To process your pre-order, deliver the product, and issue refunds.
- To understand what to build, based on research conversations.
Our legal bases under UK GDPR are your consent (waitlist and updates), performance of a contract (pre-orders), and our legitimate interest in improving the product (anonymised analytics and research notes).
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run UnitTrail: our form provider (Formspree), payment provider (Stripe), website host (Cloudflare) and email provider. Some are in the United States; they protect data with standard contractual safeguards. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Order records: as long as UK tax law requires (normally 6 years). Research notes: up to 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing xsyk.xyz@gmail.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
When the product launches
This policy covers the website, waitlist and pre-orders. Before UnitTrail connects to anyone's Jobber account, we will publish an updated policy covering the business data processed through that connection.
